So we got in from Apollo Nutrition, Bloodsport, Bare Knuckle Bloodsport. This is going to be one of their pump formulas, and we also have with us today their Bare Knuckle product, which is also a pump product, and we've had this one in for a while. The Bloodsport's new, we're going to kind of do a comparison of why you do one over the other. So the new one's Bloodsport, you want to go to the label?
Jordan:
Yeah. So with the new Bloodsport, it gives you the option of a half scoop or a full scoop. Obviously, if you want more of a crazy pump, you're going to go to full scoop. But just to start, Citrulline, you're going to have 8,000 milligrams, which is insane compared to most pre-workouts. Most that use the free form version do maybe three, four, five, or at most six, but eight is definitely a lot.
Brad:
And just to clear, when he's saying free form, he means L-Citrulline vs Citrulline Malate. One gram of Citrulline Malate is 500 milligrams of L-Citrulline.
Jordan:
Correct.
Brad:
So the free form, that one, that is a lot.
Jordan:
And then we're going to get the Arginine Nitrate, which is the NOT-3 trademark, and you get 3,000 milligrams of that, which again, that's another super high dose. 2,000 milligrams of taurine. You have the vessel drive HTP, which is the KC-hydrocelate, Himalayan Pink salt, grape seed extract, and then your estrogen. But then again, all the doses of every ingredient here is insanely high. Fantastic. You take a full scoop of this, you're going to have veins popping, muscle tightness. I mean, it's going to be a great, non-stim freak workout, essentially.
Brad:
For the bare knuckle, just a heads up the main difference that is all pump. This is pump with some nootropics, but no stimulants. So I'm going to start with the sodium. Sodium get 120 milligrams, it's a nice little boost. You get eight grams of the L-Citrulline again, really high dose, 3.2 grams of the Beta Alanine, can help kind of buffer some lactic acid to give you the tingles. If you like it, or don't it's in there. You may or may not feel depending how used to it you are. The Arginine Nitrate, like Jordan said, the NO-3-T, three grams, really, really high nitrates. That's going to help with the pump. Betaine is an osmo light that's going to help with the transfer of water. Two grams of Altirasine, 1.5 grams of Augmentin, one gram of lions main, which is a mushroom that increases the neurotropic growth factor in your brain, which increases the connections between your neurons, which is pretty fricking crazy.
Brad:
Normally you see that at 600 milligrams, you get it at 100 grams, you get a really good dose off. And something with that, you do need to take that every day. So if you are going to take a standalone product, you could take that every day and then in days you take a scoop of this, you could save a pill that. Alpha GPC, 600 milligrams, really good, strong dose of that. That's going to be a nootropic. 300 milligrams with Himalayan pink salt, so that just adds to the sodium, unless that's what you get out of that. And then 50 milligrams of the estrogen, which is going to help you absorb everything. So again, this is going to have a little bit of focus in there. That's going to be all pumped. Both of these are really, really, really good. How would you use one or the other? Do you think it might just be kind of personal preference?
Jordan:
Yeah, so definitely I would say, I was thinking, because this one isn't unflavored. I was thinking this would be good to pair up with a stim pre-workout that might have some focus already in it. As opposed to that one you could do as a standalone, or you could do with another stim, but that one would probably be much better as a later light pre workout, or you're just trying to take a break from stimulants.
Brad:
Yeah. Yeah. I would agree with that 100%. I personally don't like to take stimulants after work. I get out of here 17:36, sometimes a little bit later. If I take a scoop of any pre-workout that has anything more than just caffeine, I'm going to be up all night long. I do it all the time and I hate myself every time I do it. If I just do something with a little bit of focus, it's not going to necessarily energy, but it might be just a little bit to kind of give me what I'm looking for. And like Jordan said, that's just a really good thing to stack, or by itself it's strong-
Jordan:
Yeah. Oh, it is definitely strong on its own for sure.
Brad:
So that's a pile of nutrition known for overdosing all of their products. Really, really good. You get your money's worth for it. Bare Knuckle, and then we got the Bloodsport.
Jordan:
Yep.
