Bang Energy Drink Star Blast Flavor Review
When it comes to Energy Drinks, Bang Energy Drinks are the first thing that come to mind for many of us. Bang Energy Drinks pack a whopping 300mg of caffeine along with Aminos, Nootropics, and Super Creatine, but what makes Bang's really stand out above energy drinks is the brands huge selection of flavors, as well as how they tease out new flavors to the public. To date Bang has something like 30 flavors in total and will no doubt continue rolling out new ones, and while many people love some of the newer ones like Bang Swirly Pop, Bang Whole Lotta Chocolata, and others, one of my personal favorites is the Classic Bang Star Blast flavor, which despite being my personal favorite, I honestly couldn't put into words exactly what the flavor is, so in today's post we're going to be reviewing the Star Blast Bang Energy Drink flavor, while also examining what the flavor really is.
To me the flavor has always been a candy like flavor I can't nail down, but I began this journey into investigating the Star Blast flavor over at Reddit where Redditors said...
It's either like a Strawberry/Starfruit (Passionfruit?) Mix -- or a Bombsicle Red/White/Blue themed ice pop flavor.. depending who you ask.
Tastes to me like 4 or 5 different colored skittles in your mouth all at once.
They're going for a "Rocket Pop" flavor which is the red, white, and blue popsicle.
I've never been able to really nail down what Star Blast Bang tastes like, I get an apple flavor, pear flavor, grapefruit, and even passionfruit. To me it's like some type of Topical Fruit Smoothie but with more of a candy taste than natural fruit flavor so I almost wanna say Bang Star Blast flavor tastes like a big handful of Tropical Fruit Skittles.
Me personally I've never been able to nail down the flavor. I think initially I thought it was a Rocket Pop kind of flavor if for no other reason than the design and styling on the can, however if I actually try to nail it down I'd say it's some type of Tropical Candy flavor.
Now when we rate Bang's, outside of describing the flavor and taste, we'll typically rank them on the scales of Carbonation Level, Strength of Flavor and Strength of Sweetness. As far as carbonation level goes I'd say this is one of the more heavily carbonated Bang flavors so I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. When it comes to sweetness, while Star Blast Bang's don't taste overly syrupy or sweet, they definitely rank up there highly on the level of sweetness so I'd give it an 8/10, and lastly for the strength of flavor, despite me not being able to pin down the exact flavor profile, it is a very strong flavor. Where as some Bang Energy Drink's are just a hint or essence of a flavor, like the Whole Lotta Chocolata for example, the Star Blast flavor comes through very strong and I'd give it a 9/10.
