3 AD Prohormones Explained (Dehydroandrosterol)

Hey, guys. This is Edwin and Jeff with Best Price Nutrition. Edwin's a familiar face, comes back and visits us every once in a while. I consider him probably one of the experts in the industry for everything supplements, but prohormones especially. Anything to do with testosterone or anything, he's got so much experience. He used to work with high-tech pharmaceuticals, so that's a lot of prohormones we sell, so that's why I wanted to bring him back and go over a prohormone/testosterone booster called 3-AD. This one has been something that John and I get a lot of questions about here at Best Price Nutrition, and we don't sell them, and I wanted to kind of figure out why and exactly what 3-AD was. So again, that's why we brought to you, Edwin. So Edwin, what is 3-AD?

Edwin:

So 3-AD is a form of what's called androstenediol, which is basically, it's a compound that actually gets into your system and helps to activate your extra testosterone conversion from your testes and your adrenal gland as well too. It basically hits the receptors to let your body know to start naturally producing more testosterone from what your body actually creates, rather than putting in some kind of other outside source, basically. Kind of different from prohormones. Prohormones now, what they do is they are a DHEA source, which then convert into more DHEA in the body, and that's what increases testosterone. Whereas this one will naturally just tell the two main forms of what your body creates to create more natural testosterone.

Jeff:

Gotcha. So listening to that then, because they work differently, if someone's looking to increase strength, increase power, or cutting, I mean, do you recommend 3-AD over something like a 1-Andro or 4-AD, or what's stronger?

Edwin:

So, I mean 1-Andro and 4-Andro are definitely going to be stronger, even just long-term in general. But for somebody who doesn't exactly want to dabble into prohormones just yet, they can try the 3-AD first, kind of see how they react to it. Because basically all it is is it's an enhanced natural testosterone booster. So it's not herbal based like fadogia or tongkat or anything like that, so it hits your body a little bit differently than those do, but again, it is more of an enhanced compound, basically.

Jeff:

Okay, so you're kind of in the middle between a Testosterone 21 and a full-fledged like 4-Andro?

Edwin:

Yeah, exactly. Correct. Correct.

Jeff:

All right, so that's probably why maybe High Tech doesn't make a 3-AD, because it's not really in the realm?

Edwin:

Possibly. I think their main focus is more so on the DHEA derivative prohormones, which, I mean, on their end is a bit smarter, to be honest with you. And on top of that too, they already have the Testosterone 21, which honestly works phenomenal also. So I think it would be a little repetitive on their end to actually throw in a 3-AD product of theirs too.
