Axe & Sledge Farm Fed Marshmallow Milk Review & Taste Test (NEW FLAVOR)
Video Transcription:
John:
What's happening, guys? It's John and Jeff here with Best Price Nutrition. Visit the website at bestpricenutrition.com. And we are excited about today's video. A couple of weeks back, Axe & Sledge launched an all new limited edition flavor of Farm Fed. We got a Marshmallow Milk here.
Jeff:My favorite flavor.
John:
Yeah, you love anything marshmallow, right?
Jeff:
Yeah.
John:
I've seen them doing some pretty cool things with making protein puddings and cheesecakes and stuff out of this. You guys, we've done a number of videos on Farm Fed, one of the leanest isolates out there, just 100 calories.
Jeff:
Which is nuts. And normally when you see 100 calories it's like, oh, you get 15 grams-
John:
Not very good.
Jeff:
... of protein.
John:
And it's not a very good taste.
Jeff:
Yes.
John:
These ones taste fantastic. And how much protein is it?
Jeff:
25 grams.
John:
25 grams, yeah.
Jeff:
Which is nuts. And this one is a limited edition and it's been selling like crazy.
John:
This one's flying off the shelf.
Jeff:
Yeah.
John:
I think we got, what, about two boxes left, maybe.
Jeff:
Yep.
John:
Going to crack one of these open.
Jeff:
Yeah.
John:
Hopefully they wind up bringing this back. They did recently do that with their Peanut Butter n' Honey, and they tend to do that with popular flavors.
Jeff:
Mm-hmm. So we're going to do a kind of an unboxing here. I probably should just [inaudible 00:01:05]
John:
I know Madison really enjoyed the word find on the back.
Jeff:
Oh yeah, you were working on-
John:
[inaudible 00:01:10] cereal boxes.
Jeff:
There we go. Wrapping. Yeah, I'm very excited. I love marshmallow. What's the one I like is the-
John:
Jet-Puffed from RYSE.
Jeff:
Jet-Puffed, yes. That one's sitting at home right now. Smells pretty good.
John:
That does smell good.
Jeff:
The fun... Allmax Nutrition, what they used to do is they had a custom thing that held the scooper at the top.
John:
[inaudible 00:01:42] got to go digging through there.
Jeff:
Man, John, you're going to hate me for digging through here.
John:
I don't believe in germs.
Jeff:
You don't believe in germs? I see it down there. We're going to go dig into it. Okay.
John:
Speaking of new protein flavors, Allmax doesn't put out a lot of new flavors, but they have a Lucky Charms coming out with actual pieces of Lucky Charms.
Jeff:
Yes. [inaudible 00:02:00]
John:
So excited to try that one as well.
Jeff:
Exactly. All right, you open that up right there. All right. Didn't put too much water, that's still maybe too much water. I mean, I know, isolates usually you want to-
John:
You got any real marshmallows in here?
Jeff:
No.
John:
No.
Jeff:
Isolates, you usually want to put very little water in to get more flavor out of it. This still may be... I think I put too much in there. So if you want a much better marshmallow flavor [inaudible 00:02:30] your water, and you really don't have to worry about the clumping because isolates are normally very smooth.
John:
And we'll link down below to the entire collection of Farm Fed Flavors. I know they have the Glazed Donut. One of the recent ones was Triple Chocolate, I think it was.
Jeff:
Yep.
John:
So a lot of good flavors with them.
Jeff:
All right. Oh, that's good. That's really good. I like that marshmallow flavor.
John:
Yeah. It's almost got a little bit of marshmallow frothiness to it.
Jeff:
Mm-hmm. No, that's tasty. It's not quite the same as the RYSE, it's a little bit of a different type of marshmallow flavor.
John:
Yeah, I feel like those Jet-Puffs have a very unique kind of marshmallow taste to them, so yeah.
Jeff:
It could be because Jet-Puff actually, or the RYSE is actually is-
John:
They're usually branded. Yeah. This is really good, though.
Jeff:
But, no, that's delicious. I mean, as you mentioned earlier, all the Farm Fed are really good. They had some really good Christmas flavors.
John:
I think we still got some of those in stock too, if you guys... There's a Christmas Sugar Cookie, some kind of Christmas spice-
Jeff:
Peppermint Bark may be gone.
John:
Peppermint Bark, yeah.
Jeff:
But yeah, guys, so if you, or actually... This is really good. If you're looking for some kind of new flavor, you like marshmallow, definitely try the Axe & Sledge Farm Fed. Again, only a hundred calories, 25 grams of protein, one gram of carbohydrates. And it's also got an enzyme blend, which I wasn't aware of.
John:
You know what's nice about this too with a lot of the unique flavors, whether it's like Pistachio Ice Cream, I don't know if it's something I want to drink every day, but this is-
Jeff:
Yeah, this is tasty.
John:
Yeah, this is something I can do for a whole month.
Jeff:
And smooth as can be. No clumping, which we like. So yeah guys, so this is a limited edition. We're going to try to get more of it in, but talking to Jordan, he's not sure if he can. So I think we only have two boxes left of this and it may be gone for good. So if you do like marshmallow, you do like Axe & Sledge, definitely get your hands on this.
