Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter Protein Bar Review
Crazy Richard is a Nut Butter brand who puts out wholesome all natural nut butters, peanut butter powders, and most recently their all new product, a Peanut Butter Protein Bar which packs 16 grams of protein per bar.
Crazy Richard's recently rolled out an all new Peanut Butter Protein Bar which uses Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter in the bars. I recently connected with the brand on Instagram and they were nice enough to send out a box of Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter Protein Bars for us to try, so in today's post we're going to be giving them a taste test and review.
Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter Protein Bar Ingredients
Crazy Richard's Bars feature a clean label with all natural ingredients like Crazy Richard's Natural Peanut Butter, Whey Protein Isolate, Honey, Date Paste, Cocoa Butter and sweetened with cane sugar and stevia.
The bars feature 290 calories so it isn't a lean bar, but that's fairly reasonable for a protein bar, especially a nut butter based protein bar. The bars also feature 17 grams of fat, 21 grams of carbs, 3 grams of fiber and 15 grams of sugar, along with 16 grams of protein.
Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter Protein Bar Review
So we had a chance to try these bars, first impresions, loved the bars. I'm a big fan of the old 5% Nutrition Knock the Carb Out Bars which Crazy Richard's Bars somewhat reminded me of, however much less greasy than the old school knock the carb out bars.
Crazy Richard's Protein Bars are nut butter based so they were creamy and full of flavor without being greasy, no bad protein taste and none of that chalky consistency protein bars sometimes have. The dark chocolate chips added a nice variance both in taste and texture as opposed to being all peanut butter and really balanced out the taste. The bars are a good size and there's plenty so it's satiating enough to be a snack or a replacement for breakfast or lunch.
Wrapping Up
Overall we were big fans of Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter Protein Bars. If you're a peanut butter lover or enjoy Reece's Peanut Butter Cups chances are you'll love this snack. If you're interested in checking out Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter and Nut Butter products you can check the brand out at CrazyRichards.Com, though currently the bars are not yet available on their site.
