Hi-Tech ECA Xtreme Fat Burner
Video Transcription:
Jeff:
Hey, everybody. This is Jordan and Jeff from bestpricenutrition.com. Today we're going to be talking about Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals' ECA Xtreme. This is an extreme fat burner, weight loss product, appetite suppressive, energy booster, mood enhancer all in one bottle.
So you may look and say, "ECA Xtreme, what's that stand for?" Back in the day, we were just discussing this, it used to be for ephedra, caffeine, aspirin.
Jordan:Yep.
Jeff:
That's what people stacked to lose weight. And of course this product doesn't have aspirin in it, but we're going to kind of talk about why it's still called ECA Xtreme.
But this is a great product. If you're looking to lose weight and you're dieting, you're exercising, you want something to assist you in weight loss, this is something that can really boost your energy levels up, and overall, like we said, suppress appetites, heat you up and everything and just get you to losing a little bit more weight than normal.
So I got Jordan here. You've probably seen him in other videos, our live Prohormone Shows. He's been in industry for a long time. I like bringing him on to explain some of these ingredients, because there are quite a few in this product. So Jordan, first of all, so we got the ephedra extract, 25 milligrams. We got the caffeine, 200 milligrams.
Jordan:
Yes, yes.
Jeff:
So where does this aspirin come in?
Jordan:
So there's an ingredient, and you might find it in other products too, obviously we can't put aspirin in products anymore, it's white willow bark extract, which to break that down, it contains an ingredient called salicin. It's a precursor to salicylic acid, which is aspirin, so obviously that's going to be the pain reliever, the inflammation reducer and actually helps recover you post-workout.
So that's where the aspirin part comes from. It's very similar to how there's ephedra extract. It's very similar, it's not the identical thing, but it contains a precursor to the real thing. So that is the closest that you can get to a real ECA stack right now.
Jeff:
Stack right now. So that's where the ECA comes in.
Jordan:
Yes.
Jeff:
But this product doesn't stop there.
Jordan:
No.
Jeff:
So if you can go through some of the other ingredients in this blend.
Jordan:
So obviously, same with most Hi-Tech products, always has the Senegalia Berlandieri extract, which again, it helps improve mood, it improves focus, mental alertness during your workouts.
There is the long blend of methylsynephrine, methylphenethylamine. I'm not even going to go all the way into it, but I will include that it does have the two amino. I'm just going to go the two amino.
Jeff:
[inaudible 00:02:43]. Yes.
Jordan:
So many long words that I hate saying them, but that's DMHA.
Jeff:
Yep.
Jordan:
A lot of you probably know that this product used to have 1,3 in it, which was the DMAA. So that's been replaced with the DMHA. These are all groups of stimulants that help increase mental clarity, cognitive function, focus, give you a little bit more energy while you're working out.
We also got the green tea extract, a natural caffeine and an antioxidant, supports fat burning and it helps with your metabolism as well. We have the theobromine, which is very similar to caffeine, but it's a little bit more milder, and it has an effect on the central nervous system as well. And it actually has a diuretic effect to it, so it helps with a little bit of water weight.
Jeff:
Okay.
Jordan:
We have the phenethylamine HCL, basically acts as a neurotransmitter. So again, another mood enhancer, improves energy, cognitive function, the citrus extract or 25 milligrams of synephrine.
Again, I know I've mentioned in other videos before, anything that you see in a fat burner that shows citrus, that's going to be a thermogenic. A lot of that stuff will heat you up internally and make you sweat as well.
And then it has chromium picolinate in there, which is really interesting because most people take chromium as an insulin mimicker, you can see in a lot of glucose disposal agents, because it'll help break down the carbohydrates and turn them into glycogen instead of storing them a lot as insulin.
So that's really cool to see that in there. A lot of people do that too because it helps with building muscle, a little bit of fat loss as well. But yeah, it really drives the carbs into the muscles so you get more energy while you're working out, so that's really cool to see in there.
Jeff:
Yeah, so this would actually, we talk about sometimes using these as a pre-workout instead of a pre-workout powder.
Jordan:
Mm-hmm.
Jeff:
And this one with the chromium, this one also with the aspirin would actually make a good pre-workout.
Jordan:
Yeah. Of course.
Jeff:
You can take a tablet pre-workout along with maybe a non-stimulant pump product if you want the pump too, like Pump Sauce, great product.
Jordan:
Oh, yeah.
Jeff:
But yeah, so ECA Xtreme, so Hi-Tech does recommend, they say take one cablet. Caplet. Normally [inaudible 00:04:42] see call it caplet.
Jordan:
No, that's weird.
Jeff:
Okay, caplet. One caplet three times per day. So just to warn you, again, it's 200 milligrams of caffeine and 25 milligrams of ephedra extract per caplet.
Jordan:
Yes.
Jeff:
So that could be 600 milligrams of caffeine right there.
Jordan:
Yes.
Jeff:
They say you could take up to four.
Jordan:
Wow.
Jeff:
That's giving you 800 milligrams of caffeine.
Jordan:
That's a lot of caffeine.
Jeff:
Start small.
Jordan:
Yeah, of course.
Jeff:
You could start on an empty stomach before breakfast or try after breakfast. And you've talked about maybe just one additional one pre-workout around lunchtime.
Jordan:
Yeah. Normally one in the morning and maybe one... If you're working out in the morning, just use that as your fat burner throughout the day. Maybe take one in the afternoon. But that's kind of it. I normally don't recommend taking up to four. If you're doing four per day constantly, you're going to build a tolerance.
Jeff:
Yeah.
Jordan:
It could cause obviously other issues down the road, but yeah, that's a lot of caffeine, so I would honestly stick to two per day.
Jeff:
Yeah. And don't take within four hours of bedtime.
Jordan:
No, please don't.
Jeff:
Otherwise, you have to take some melatonin to knock yourself down. Or Somatomax.
Jordan:
You could take Somatomax. Yeah.
Jeff:
[inaudible 00:05:44] up, down, or both ways. So yeah, guys, so this is a pretty strong one. If you're looking for something even stronger, something like Hellfire or Diablos would be good. If you want something a step down, maybe just the original [inaudible 00:05:56] would be an option too.
