Yep. This one is Pharma-Z. This is their calm, stress mood support product, which is also a non-stimulant.

John:

It's like a nighttime relaxed, you're ready for bed kind of product.

Jeff:

Yeah. We just talked about a product called Far Beyond Driven. On the other hand, that product is more about mood boosting and happiness and all that kind of stuff.

John:

Lots of stimulants.

Jeff:

Lots of stimulants. So if you're not one of those people that likes the stimulants, this is a product to try.

John:

Do you like taking late nighttime, relaxed stuff, valerian root or sleep stuff?

Jeff:

Yeah. The ashwagandha I like taking, which is part of this product, but you're big into that, right?

John:

Yeah, and I like a lot of that stuff.

Jeff:

Yeah. So what's in this thing?

John:

We got 1500 milligrams of GABA, so kind of a nootropic mood booster. Calm promotes relaxation.

Jeff:

Exactly. 1,500 milligrams. Did you say 15?

John:

1,500.

Jeff:

Okay. I think you did, yes. Hibiscus flower extract, no. Psycho Pharma has been using that in a lot of their products. It's very good for mood boosting. It's got some studies of being an antidepressant and also some appetite suppression in there as well. So nice hefty dose of that.

John:

We've got 300 milligrams of ashwagandha, a little bit low. Ideally, you like to see 600 milligrams, but there's a lot of good stuff in here and that helps block cortisol. Good for relaxing at the end of the day.

Jeff:

And testosterone? [inaudible 00:01:52]

John:

Lowering the cortisol helps boost testosterone, so a lot of benefits to that one.

Jeff:

And then we got 200 milligrams of L-theanine and that calms everything out. What?

John:

I take a tablet of L-theanine every single night.

Jeff:

Oh really?

John:

Yeah. I do the Life Extension.

Jeff:

Okay. And that just makes you relax.

John:

Yeah, and you also see that in a lot of pre-workouts, a lot of times they put it in there to mellow out the stems. But L-theanine and magnesium at night. Great for relaxing, getting ready for bed.

Jeff:

You still take the magnesium too, huh?

John:

I think I just ran out the other day.

Did you? Okay. Are you taking the calm ?

John:

No, just 500 milligrams of, I don't want to say Life Extension.

Jeff:

Then we got the 10 milligrams of the black pepper extract, which is just used for-

Jeff:

Yep, exactly. And then finally vitamin B6, just five milligrams, but that's got a lot of different properties for mood and everything as well. So you're getting... So one serving is two capsules. If this is too much for you, you could start with one, but I don't think you'd have a problem with two.

John:

You don't want to be too relaxed.

Jeff:

I'd love to be too relaxed. That'd be great though. It says do not exceed four in a 24-hour period. So you could actually take four and then you get a heavy dose of the ashwagandha.

John:

You get the double, yeah. 600 milligrams.

Jeff:

Exactly. So this product, guys, what I would do is take it at night. That's probably the best time when you want to relieve stress, settle down from whatever happened that day. But again, no stimulants, so you should fall over right asleep after taking it.

John:
