TikTok's King Maker Test Booster, Is it Legit or All Hype?

TikTok's King Maker Test Booster, Is it Legit or All Hype?

Intro

Lately we've had a number of customers calling us asking about a supplement called King Maker which is apparently making the rounds on TikTok. I've also seen searches for this product on the rise, so we decided to take a look and see what it's all about.

What is King Maker?

King Maker appears to be made by a supplement brand called Top Shelf Grind, although aside from King Maker the test booster and another product called Alpha Grind, the brand seens to primarily sell coffee, tee shirt and pheromone infused cologne's which gives a little bit of a sketchy vibe.

King Maker is advertised as being a 13-In-1 Anabolic Supplement for men to increase stamina, increase lean muscle growth and speed up recovery. They use a lot of buzzwords and catch phrases like "Defy Mediocrity", "Unleash Your Potential" and "Rewrite Your Destiny"; but does it live up to the hype?

Just taking a quick look at the formula it looks to be a testosterone booster with some additional ingredients to boost libido and build muscle. The price tag is a bit shocking coming in at $116.99 which is high for a test booster, even one from well known established brands like Apollon Nutrition, Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals and Enhanced Supps among others. So in today's post we're going to be looking at the formula as well as the dosages and giving our opinion on whether this is a legit supplement or all hype, and whether it justifies the $116 price tag, about twice the price of some of the top test boosters on the market.

What Are The Benefits of King Maker? Does It Work?

King Maker is a natural test booster with some additional ingredients to support libido, post workout recovery and to support muscle growth.  Ingredients like Turkesterone are great for putting on lean muscle mass and enhanced muscle fullness, Fadogia is good for boosting testosterone and supporting muscle growth, Tongkat Ali is probably the best compound around for boosting natural testosterone and Black Maca is great for boosting libido, vitality and sexual function.

Is King Maker Safe & Are There Side Effects?

From looking at the ingredient panel King Maker appears to be a fairly safe supplement to take, although as is the case with any supplement you should check with your healthcare provider prior to beginning supplementation. In terms of side effects, this supplement for most should be free from side effects however possible side effects could be similar to side effects of most supplements which include digestive issues, nausea and vomiting, allergic reactions, blood pressure changes, and mood changes.

Is The TikTok King Maker Supplement Worth It?

So is King Maker worth it? I'll cut right to the chase and say no, in my opinion King Maker is not worth the money. Test Boosters are a category of supplement which tends to be on the more expensive side, however even the top test boosters on the market are typically $50 to $60.

In my opinion, a couple of the best test boosters on the market are things like Anarchy Labs Hard Target, USP Labs Pink Magic and Enhanced Supps Black Ox just to name a few. These test boosters contain a similar if not even wider array of ingredients and heftier dosages.

One of my rules of thumb of test boosters is I tend to write them off if they don't contain Tongkat Ali as it's one of my personal favorite ingredients and one of the testosterone boosting ingredients with the most clinical studies and backing showing that it actually works. While King Maker does contain Tongkat Ali, it contains 100mg versus the clinical dose of 400mg. And while ingredients like Fadogia and Turkesterone are great ingredients, King Maker contains 350mg of Turkesterone vs the clinical dose of 500-1000mg per day and when it comes to Fadogia, King Maker contains 300mg vs the clinical dose of 600-1000mg per day.

While King Maker does contain a fairly solid formula and list of ingredients, it does lack some ingredients and has lower dosages of ingredients than other high quality test boosters which sell for half the price. Ultimately I can't say there's any natural test booster that's worth a $100 plus price tag and certainly not with this formula at these dosages.

What Is Reddit Saying About King Maker?

So after perusing a number of Reddit threads on subreddits like r/Supplements and others there seem to be mixed reviews, some people say King Maker is overpriced or didn't do much for them while others leave glowing reviews, so glowing however that many in these threads are calling out these posters as being plants saying things like "Damn you guys gotta be more smart if you're doing this. Just sound a little more human & less advertising/promo if you're going to make fake comments to promote the brand.

Another Redditor linked to a Youtube Video in which Top Shelf Grind was called out for making AI Generated Deep Fake Videos making it seem as if Joe Rogan is endorsing their product, which he is not and has not done.

We wound up perusing a number of threads and wanted to include a few Redditors thoughts on King Maker...

The Good

Great product helps me stay focused and healthy and motivated.

Great product with a whole bunch of great ingredients for an array of health benefits. Definitely worth a try, will purchase again

The Bad

Little late to the tread. I’ve only been taking it for about 3 weeks now. The main thing I’ve noticed was less joint pain, tendinitis. Also have a much better sweat. I did see a little extra boost in the gym. Sex drive is up. But if you’re looking for something that is gonna boost your test a lot, gotta do the real deal. For the price, it’s not worth it. You can supp horny goat weed for dive, animal flex helps w joint paint and you can save yourself $70.

Near 50 male, hoping for great supplements but was just overpriced and underwhelmed

Im not content with this product I do not feel nothing different or see or feel any actual results I believe all these products are scams just to revenue money I'm really disappointed in this product for how much it costs cuz it's expensive and you see no results

I purchased King Maker for my husband, and for the price I paid with the rate my husband works out daily, this product was ridiculously over priced, the results were very mediocre. Not much of a King Maker for us buyers, only for the makers, sadly. I won't be repurchasing this over priced supplement. I'd rather find an alternative, given the product costs about $30 dollars tops to be produced on a mass scale production line. While in turn the creators or producers of this product are the only ones being made into Kings, pathetic of such a company, but they've got competition coming soon. My husband didn't notice any drastic changes. You're better off sticking with a regular testosterone booster. This product is overly hyped and over priced, again. Side effects included sore stomach and nausea at times, and my husband doesn't even normally have those sorts of abdominal issues. They only started to appear when he started taking King Maker. My husband also reported no weight loss, and the ingredients would honestly be cheaper to source as separate supplements.

3 Alternatives To Top Shelf Grind King Maker

USP Labs Pink Magic

USP Labs Pink Magic is one of our top selling test boosters, and in similar fashion to King Maker it also has ingredients to build muscle and boost test. The formula features some common ingredients to King Maker such as Maca and Turkesterone, but also features Epiandrosterone which is technically a prohormone, although at a low enough dose that it doesn't require a PCT and most people still consider it more of a natural test booster and not a prohormone. In terms of effectiveness we recently spoke with a customer of ours who had blood work done prior to starting Pink Magic and after 60 days of taking it and with documented blood work he saw a 200 plus point gain in his testosterone levels. As far as price point goes Pink Magic sells for $59.95 compared to the $116.95 price point of King Maker.

Anarchy Labs Hard Target

Hard Target is one of my personal favorites. Hard Target was recently rebranded as Anarchy Labs, a spin-off of Apollon Nutrition, a brand known for putting out hardcore heavily dosed supplements. The formula behind Hard Target is a fantastic one featuring Tongkat Ali and Fadogia like King Maker, but with the addition of quality ingredients like KSM-66 Ashwagandha, PrimaVie branded Shilajit, DIM and even 100mg of Arimistane. The dosages of ingredients it shares in common with King Maker are also heftier ie 100mg of Tongkat Ali in King Maker vs 400mg in Hard Target and 1200mg of Fadgoia in Hard Target compared to just 300mg in King Maker. Hard Target is a fantastic well dosed formula and comes in at a price tag of $58 compared to King Maker at $116.95.

Enhanced Supps Black Ox

Enhanced Supps Black Ox is another test booster that's a customer favorite and a favorite here aroundthe office. It features many common ingredients to King Maker such as Tongkat Ali and Fadogia however also has some additional ingredients like Fenegreek, Velvet Bean, DHEA, and DIM, and while fairly pricey for a test booster coming in at $69.99, it's still substantially cheaper than King Maker.

Conclusion: Should I Buy King Maker?

In my opinion no test booster is worth $116 regardless of how robust the formula or how hefty the dosages of high quality ingredients is. That said when comparing King Maker to other high quality well regarded test boosters on the market which come in at just over half the price, I couldn't justify buying it.
