John:What's happening guys? John and Jeff here with Best Price Nutrition. You can visit the website at bestpricenutrition.com. Be sure to hit that subscribe button down below. Ring the bell. We got a lot of videos queued up here. So some exciting new products coming in, some products we're thinking about bringing in. So make sure you catch those videos. And today's video, you said a lot of people lately have been looking for the best low calorie protein powders.
Jeff:Yep, exactly. We get questions a lot from everybody and a lot of people have been, I don't know if it's just dieting or what it is, but they're looking for protein powders that have a little less calories than others. Because they can range, we've seen them as low as 80, seen them as high as 180, 190.
John:
Right.
Jeff:
Not counting weight gainers and everything, but actual whey protein.
John:
[inaudible 00:00:49] 160, 180 calories.
Jeff:
Yes, exactly. So we've got the top five lowest calorie whey protein powders that we could find, that we sell.
John:
At the end maybe we'll share our favorite out of these.
Jeff:
Okay. That'll work.
John:
Okay.
Jeff:
All right, so we're going to start off with the most, and let's go with Rule 1.
John:
Okay, so Rule 1, really popular protein brand. This is a newer brand that we just recently brought in. I think we carry a couple of their proteins as well as their clean mass gainer, but this one is 110 calories. This is a protein blend, whey protein isolate and hydrolyzed whey protein isolate. And this one is twenty-five grams of protein per serving. I know they sent us out a bunch of samples when we first started carrying them.
Jeff:
A lot of flavors.
John:
I've tried most of the flavors, birthday cake, salted caramel, chocolate, vanilla. All taste really good. Just clean protein, quality company. So that is number one. And again, this is 110 calories.
Jeff:
110 calories. Next one down the list is Metabolic ISO PWDR. Now Metabolic is known for its flavors. I mean I love their Muscle Lean.
John:
Protizyme and MuscLean are fantastic. Especially the peanut butter flavor.
Jeff:
Oh man. But you're a big fan of the ISO PWDR.
John:
Yeah, it is a little bit lighter than the other ones, but I think this is one of the most flavorful and most kind of milk-shake-like, low-calorie protein products.
Jeff:
And this one is, so you get 46 servings per container, so 104 calories per serving and that's going to give you 26 grams of protein. So it's slightly higher than a lot of the protein powders out there for a lot less calories, which is pretty impressive. And this is, the protein is made up of a hundred percent pure, un-natured, cold-pressed cold cross-micro-ultra-filtered whey protein isolate.
That's a mouthful. All right. But yeah, so it's a whey protein isolate, basically is what you need to know. But very good tasting. Again, 104 calories and 26 grams of protein.
John:
They have, I forget them all off the top of my head, but they have some unique flavors and some good-tasting flavors as well.
Jeff:
Yes, I do.
John:
Next up we got Inspired. Inspired, awesome company. They're Devastate pre-workout. They're known for as well as the FSU serum. And this is actually new. This is their ISO-PF protein powder. Let's see here. We got, this is a whey protein isolate. We got 25 grams of protein. This one's coming in really lean with just a hundred calories. And I might be confusing this is the one that also has the probiotics and stuff? Or am I confusing that with their other one?
Speaker 3:
That's the other one.
John:
Okay. So that's the other one. But they also have some unique flavors. We got Street Cart Churro, and they also got a couple other pretty unique flavors. This is also a great tasting protein, especially-
Jeff:
Did we say how many grams are in here?
John:
25.
Jeff:
25 grams, at a hundred calories. That's really good.
John:
Yeah.
Jeff:
That's excellent. Really good. All right, next one is Farm Fed by Axe and Sledge. We're all a big fan of Farm Fed. Great flavors, overall great company, got a lot of cool products. I love their hydraulic for pumps. So a lot of good stuff and great labeling too.
So this one you're again is a hundred calories per serving. You're getting 30 servings in here. And the thing that's a little bit unique about this one, it is grass-fed whey protein. So there is a lot of people that want the grass-fed versus the regular whey protein isolate. So what are the different flavors that come in this? I'm trying to think. There's so many.
John:
Yeah, there's many, their glazed donuts, s'mores.
Jeff:
They got some really unique flavors.
John:
I thought there was one partnership that they did with a mainstream food brand.
Speaker 3:
Dippin' Dots.
John:
Dippin, Dots, Dippin, Dots. I think it was-
Speaker 3:
Banana and Strawberry.
John:
Banana and Strawberry, yeah.
Jeff:
She's got it down. Any other flavors?
Speaker 3:
The iced vanilla cookie that just came out.
John:
Oh yeah. So we got the holiday flavors too. I just made a post on it this morning.
Jeff:
We got a lot here. Farm Fed's got a lot.
John:
Ice sugar cookie, bunch of holiday flavors that were done in partnership with the 20th anniversary of Elf and they're going quick. So if you want a holiday flavor, act fast.
Jeff:
Yeah. So again, Farm Fed, and if I didn't say it before, 22 grams of protein per serving for those hundred calories. And the number one lowest protein powder.
John:
This is one of my favorite protein powders.
Jeff:
We just did a review on that. It was delicious.
John:
So they just put out this blue raspberry flavor. They also got mango, pineapple, and watermelon and this one comes in super lean, 80 calories. I mean it's almost calorie per gram of protein, almost pure protein. This is also going to be good for anyone who has trouble digesting dairy or whey products.
Super lean. If you're trying to stick to a diet, and I really like these for summertime, or if you're just having a really intense workout and you don't want a creamy protein shake at the end.
Jeff:
No, we've done reviews of all these guys, but that one we just did, I think last week.
John:
This is really good.
Jeff:
I mean it goes down like a pre-workout. It's so thin. And with the compression.
John:
We were talking about it before we started the video, that seems to be like a growing category in the supplement space. There were very few options before and now everybody's starting to roll out clear proteins.
Jeff:
Exactly. So all right guys, so these are our top five lowest calorie protein powders. Said that all correctly.
John:
Maybe we'll create a category, low calorie protein powders. So I'll go ahead-
Jeff:
I think we do a high one too. All the protein powder, not including the gainers.
John:
Not mass gainers.
Jeff:
Maybe we'll do that next. So guys, so we'll link to all these below, but if you have any questions, more details of these, just post them down below. If you've had any of these, we'd like to hear what you think. Post those down below. John and I are here answering those questions, responding to your comments all day long.
