SEEQ Protein Powder Review
SEEQ Protein Powder is a newer supplement brand which was created and founded by Ben Zaver. As someone who used protein powder on a daily basis, Ben got tired of thick, creamy and milky protein shakes, so he set out to create his own. Ben began working with food scientists and using blind taste testers to make sure he got it just right. After nearly 2 years in the lab the brand was launched in October of 2021, initially with two flavors, Strawberry Splash and Mnago Pineapple. All of this was done from Ben's parents living room in Minnesota. Ben thanks his folks for allowing them to store 8,000 pounds of protein in their living room and garage while he was getting his brand off the ground. The brand quickly gained a following on TikTok and sold out of their first round of inventory. Eventually Mark Cuban of the Hit Show Shark Tank caught wind of it after learning his young son liked it, leading to Mark Cuban making a TikTok talking about it and rating it a 10/10 which spurred the brand to even more popularity. I recently had a chance to try out three flavors of SEEQ Protein Powder and in today's post we'll be doing an extensive product review.
WHAT IS SEEQ PROTEIN POWDER?
What makes SEEQ Protein different is rather than another creamy milky protein, SEEQ has taken high quality whey protein isolate and created a light and refreshing alternative to your typical thick milky protein powders. This is done through a microfiltration process that leaves your protein shake crisp, clear and refreshing, great for hot summer days, great for those who struggle digesting milk or lactose, and great for those who are looking for an alternative to the traditional protein shake. SEEQ Protein is an incredibly lean protein powder containing 22 grams of whey protein isolate with just 100 calories and a single gram of carbs and zero sugar.
SEEQ Protein initially rolled out in just two flavors, but has quickly grown to a flavor line-up of 5 choices including Strawberry Splash, Mango Pineapple, Homemade Lemonade, Blue Razz Freeze, and Tropical Punch.
SEEQ Clear Protein Powder Review
I'll be honest, I'm typically skeptical of TikTok products and TikTok supplements, so when I learned about SEEQ Protein I was a bit skeptical, but after seeing Mark Cuban, who's typically skeptical of supplements, called it a 10 out of 10, I decided it was worth giving it a try.
I ordered two tubs including the Blue Razz Freeze flavor as well as the Homemade Lemonade flavor. Now I'm not completely new to clear proteins, I've tried clear protein powders from Allmax as well as NutraBio Clear in the past. The flavors of SEEQ Protein are fantastic, the protein shake winds up being light and crisp as opposed to your typical protein shake which is milky, thick and has a more milkshake like consistency. Being someone who works out outdoors in the summer time and being someone who does a lot of cardio, I can definitely appreciate the light crisp and refreshing nature of this protein shake. The flavors were also on point with no residual "protein taste" or "amino taste" lingering which is the case with many protein shakes, especially the clear ones. I also like that SEEQ only contains 100 calories per shake which is about 20-100 calories lower than most other protein shakes.
I was trying to come up with a negative or con or complaint about SEEQ Protein, because no review is complete with only Pro's and no Con's, however I was hard pressed to find a negative about SEEQ Protein. The only negative I can really come up with is the price point. Seek is a little pricier than other protein powders on the market, a 1.54 pound tub of SEEQ will run you $44.99 per tub. While there are cheaper whey isolates on the market, SEEQ isn't priced much more than those, and when compared to other Clear Proteins on the market, which tend to cost more, SEEQ is right in line if not even lower priced than Clear Proteins from brands like NutraBio or JYM.
Overall I'm a huge fan of SEEQ Protein and would score both flavors I tried a 9/10. SEEQ Protein is a great option for those who struggle to digest lactose, those who workout outdoors or do a lot of cardio, or just anyone looking for something different from your usual thick milky protein shake. I'd highly recommend picking up a tub and giving them SEEQ a try.
