Everything You Wanted to Know About Mesomorph Preworkout
WHAT IS MESOMORPH PRE-WORKOUT?
Mesomorph is Top Selling Preworkout Supplement which is made by a company called APS Nutrition, APS Nutrition is part of the Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals family of brands. Mesomorph was first rolled out back in 2013 and has been a top selling preworkout supplement for going on almost a decade. Over the years Mesomorph has been reformulated a number of times. At one point Mesomorph contained the powerful stimulant DMHA, however after DMHA was banned it was reformulated without DMHA. A few years later it was again reformulated and DMHA was added to the formula along with Geranium Extract. Mesomorph as of the time of this writing is on Version 4 or V4 as it's referred to.
WHAT IS A MESOMORPH BODY TYPE?
So if you've ever tried to purchase Mesomorph Preworkout online or to research the preworkout, you've likely come across a number of search results for Mesomorph the body type or somatotype, along with others like Ectomorph and Endomorph. These three styles or body types were first introduced back in the 1940's by PhD and MD William H Sheldon. These body types were used to introduce individualized exercise routines and fitness plans based on one's natural body type. Most people fall into one of these three categories. Ectomorphs tend to be long and lean with little body fat and little muscle. Ectomorphs often have a hard time gaining weight, and most people we refer to as "Hard Gainers" fall into the Ectomorph category of body types. While in some ways this body type is a blessing in that it's difficult to gain weight and easier to stay in shape, those who are looking to be more muscular or who are looking to put on weight find it frustating being an Ectomorph. Many Men who are Ectomorphs wish they had a wider chest and many female Ectomorphs wish they were curvier.
Endomorphs on the other hand tend to have much more body fat and find it easier to gain both fat and muscle. Football line-men tend to be Endomorphs. Endomorphs are heavier and rounder individuals and tend to be referred to as "big boned". Endomorphs aren't necessarily fat or overweight, however they do tend to be larger and find that they have an easier time putting on both muscle and fat.
Lastly Mesomorphs, the body type after which the Mesomorph Preworkout is named after are typically referred to as an athletic body type. They tend to be able to eat what they want without worrying much about gaining weight and they can gain muscle and lose weight without much effort.
While the APS Mesomorph Preworkout won't necessarily turn your body type into that of a Mesomorph, it will help you maximize your genetic potential by helping you to get the most out of your workout and training sessions.
APS MESOMORPH PREWORKOUT FORMULA
The V4 or Version 4 Mesomorph which has been out for about year and a half contains a new formula with DMHA, Geranium Extract, and Quebracho Blacno Extract which is Yohimbine. While Mesomorph has always been a well rounded preworkout which provides energy, focus, and endurance, the new formula or V4 formula is the most powerful formula since the removal of DMAA. DMHA is very similar in terms of chemical strucuture and the effect of DMAA, however DMAA is about 3x stronger than DMHA so the dosages of DMHA are typically higher, and while DMHA does provide a mood boost and a euphoric effect, DMAA is generally thought to be a bit more euphoric and mood boosting than DMHA.
Back when Mesomorph contained DMAA it was one of the most loved preworkouts on the market, in a subsequent version they removed the DMHA, but had not yet replaced the DMAA with DMHA so while Mesomorph Version 3 or V3 was a solid well rounded preworkout, it may not have been up to snuff for the stim heads out there. The most recent version of Mesomorph however, Version 4 or V4, they've added DMHA and while it's still a well rounded preworkout in the areas of muscle pumps, focus, mind muscle connection and endurance, it's much more stimmed out and provides much more energy than the previous version V3. Let's take a look at the formula behind Mesomorph V4 Preworkout...
So Mesomorph Preworkout contains three blends a Synthenox Carnosine/Nitric Oxide Complex, a Mesomoprh Cell Volumizing ATP Matrix, and a Neuromorph-Neuro Energized Stimulant Matrix. Let's break down everything that goes into Mesomorph, why it's in there, and how it can benefit your performance during workouts.
Beta Alanine
Beta Alanine is an essential amino acid, it's best known as the ingredient in preworkouts that gives you "The Tingles". Beta Alanine can help prevent muscle soreness, enhance athletic performance, and can help stave off muscle fatigue and increase endurance.
L-Citrulline
L-Citrulline helps boost nitric oxide production ie it helps your arteries relax and work better pumping more blood which improves blood flow and oxygen levels in the body and increases muscle pumps, athletic performance, and endurance.
Arginine
Arginine is another "Pump Ingredient", it's an amino acid which helps the body build protein, it also releases nitric oxide into the blood which helps to widen blood vessels and may help circulation while providing a nice muscle pump and transports more blood and oxygen to the muscles.
Di-Creatine Malate
Creatine is a popular ingredient in many preworkout supplements, it can help to increase muscle mass and improve athletic performance. Di-Creatine Malate is more expensive than Creatine Monohydrate and is thought to do a better job of helping to build muscle mass than creatine monohydrate.
L-Taurine
Taurine is an ingredient which helps to boost athletic performance by reducing muscle fatigue and allows athletes to hold a high level of intensity for a longer amount of time. Taurine is also a great ingredient for supporting hydration.
Creatine Nitrate
Creatine Nitrate tends to be easier on the stomach for those who struggle with digesting creatine monohydrate. Creatine Nitrate may help to boost muscle strength, muscle mass and muscle endurance.
Ascorbic Acid
Ascorbic Acid is better known as Vitamin C. Vitamin C is necessary for the growth, development and repair of all body tissues as well as supporting the immune system and wound healing.
Creatine-O-Phosphate
Creatine-O-Phosphate is a synthetically created compound which is believed to have some cardioprotective properties and also supports increased muscle mass, muscle endurance and muscle growth.
Agmatine Sulfate
Agmatine Sulfate plays an important role in nitric oxide production and helps to promote circulation and provides a muscle pump during a workout. It's also belived to help build muscle.
Glucoronolactone
Glucuronolactone is a naturally occurring substance and is a popular ingredient in preworkouts as well as energy drinks like Red Bull. It's believed to help increase physical performance, stamina, and help the body detox.
Methylxanthine Anhydrous
Methylxanthine is a stimulant found naturally in our bodies as well as a number of plants. This ingredient helps to open our bodies airways so we can take in more oxygen which in turn helps increase blood flow to your muscles and overall endurance.
2-Aminoisoheptane
You probably know this ingredient better as DMHA. DMHA is probably the most potent legal stimulant on the market since DMAA was banned years ago. DMHA is a popular stimulant in many preworkouts and fat burners, it provides users with energy, motivation and a mood lift while also helping to suppress the apptete. It also helps with focus and mind muscle connection because it seems to help enhance focus, memory and attention.
Geranium Extract
Geranium is the plant which DMHA and DMAA are sourced from. Geranium Extract is believed to be beneficial for pain management and mood.
Theobromine
Theobromine can help fight off hunger, it's also a popular ingredient as users report it tends to give them a clear sense of mind during workouts. Theobromine is also an anti-inflammatory.
Naringin
Naringin is a powerful antioxidant which helps fight free radicals, supports immune system health, and promotes overall health and wellness.
Quebracho Blanco Extract
Quebracho Blanco is a plant from Argentina which has long been used as medicine. Quebracho Blanco is a yohimbine outline and promotes increased energy, appetite suppression and is often used as an aphrodisiac.
IS MESOMORPH THE STRONGEST PREWORKOUT?
So back when Mesomorph first rolled out around 2013 and contained DMHA, Mesomorph and USP Labs JACK3D were some of the most popular and strongest preworkouts on the market. The subsequent version of Mesomorph, V3, wasn't very strong in regards to stimulants as it just contained caffeine. The new V4 version of Mesomorph now contains DMHA and is much more potent than the previous version. While it is an intense hardcore preworkout packing tons of energy, in recent years many supplement companies have been upping the amount of stimulants in their preworkouts while also including a variety of stimulants such as Higenamine, Hordenine, Eria Jarensis and others. While Mesomorph is still a solid preworkout for stimheads, there are stronger preworkouts on the market such as Swole AF El Chapo,, and Elev8 Supps Decim8 among others.
BUY MESOMORPH
WHERE CAN I BUY MESOMORPH?
Shops like Amazon, Walmart and GNC typically carry more mainstream supplements and don't carry hardcore fat burners and preworkouts which contain DMHA and other powerful stimulants. Because of this you cannot buy Mesomorph at these shops. You can however buy Mesomorph right here at BestPriceNutrition.Com
WHAT ARE THE PRO'S & CON'S OF MESOMORPH?
Mesomorph has a ton of pro's or positives. Mesomorph is a well rounded preworkout. Where as many preworkouts are strong on stims they may be weak in the area of pumps, focus, and/or endurance. Mesomorph checks all the boxes, it's great for muscle pumps, great for focus and a strong mind muscle connection, and while it may not be the strongest most stimmed out preworkout on the market it does contain DMHA and other stimulants and packs a ton of energy.
In terms of cons, the negatives about Mesomorph tend to be specific to the individual. For example Mesomorph contains Creatine, many users specifically seek out preworkouts without creatine either because it doesn't agree with their stomach or they find it makes them retain water. Another potential negative is for those who don't like Beta Alanine and don't like "The Tingles". While Mesomorph contains proprietary blends so we don't know the exact dosage, Beta Alanineis the first ingredient in the 6500mg Synthenox Carnosine Nitric Oxide Complex so a fairly hefty dose. One of the more noticeable aspects of Mesomorph are "the tingles" so if you're someone who doesn't like them you may not like Mesomorph. The only other real negative I can think of is that Mesomorph isn't as high stim as a lot of the newer preworkouts hitting the market so if you're a true stimhead you may find Mesomorph isn't strong enough for you, however for 90% of users it should pack plenty of a punch in the stim department.
