Carriers Used to Ship to Japan

We will ship your package to you privately. We ship orders to Japan using UPS Worldwide Saver and UPS Worldwide Expedited. The carrier we use will depend on the weight and value of your order. In our experience, we have found that packages with a smaller value (under $50 USD) and also light weight usually receive the smoothest process into Japan with regards to customs and delivery time. On average, deliveries usually take between 4 to 10 business days depending on which carrier you choose

How long will it take to receive my order in Japan?

We ship packages received before 2 PM CT the same day. Orders received after are shipped the next day directly from our warehouse in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Time in transit is indicated next to the available shipping methods. Your product will be shipped in a discreet, blank cardboard box or plain padded envelope if the size of the item warrants it.

We will need proof of the damage which can be given with a photo of: the items in the order, the invoice, and the packaging you received this in. For damaged products, we may issue a store credit for you.

What Will the Shipping Box Look Like?

Your product will be shipped in a discreet, blank cardboard box. It will not have our logo on the outside or any indication of what the items are inside the package. We aim to make the boxes as plain as possible to avoid customs opening the package up and assessing tax or duty.

Do you Fraud Check International Orders?

Absolutely. While we have proprietary technology and methods on how we check orders for fraud, we will say that we start by checking the following pieces of information:

In Stock vs. Backorder Status

If your product is listed as In Stock on our website, it will ship out the same or next business day. We do not ship on weekends. If the product is listed Out of Stock or Backordered, it will ship once we have the product in stock. Whether the product is in stock or on backorder, you will be billed immediately.

Customs & Country Regulations

It is your responsibility to check if the products you have ordered are allowed in your country before you order. If your package is stopped by customs and returned to us, we can give you a full refund minus shipping and return shipping costs (if applicable) when we receive the package back. Unfortunately if your package is seized and destroyed we're not able to offer a refund. The following items are some of what are not allowed to be imported into Japan: Kelp, Hoodia, Aloe, (except aloe vera), Vanilla, Flour, Barley, Corn meal, Raw Rice, Nuts, Seeds, Raw Beans, Products containing Hemp, Pet Foods, Pet Supplements, Meat products, (such as Jerky). Items in which only a two-month supply of the product at a time can be imported include: Melatonin, Yohimbe, DHEA (Including 7-Keto DHEA), 5-HTP, Potassium Iodine/Iodide and Taurine. If one bottle contains more than a two-month supply or multiple bottles are purchased, the items will be confiscated by customs.

Package Descriptions / Value

For international packages, the customs form will be affixed to the outside of your box. This will list each item name and the total quantity of that item in the package. Due to International Law, we cannot adjust or change the description of your order. We constantly research and communicate with customs agencies and shipping carriers worldwide to ensure you package has the highest chance of arriving safely and quickly.

We do not include shipping costs in the total of your declared value. Any coupons, rewards, or other discounts are removed from the value of your order to reflect the actual price of the items, which helps lower the Declared Value. Due to International Law, we cannot adjust or change the value of your order.

Prohibited and Returned Items

Based on the laws of your country, some items may not be available for shipping to your country. We are unable to keep up with what supplements are not allowed as we ship to over 120 countries. It is ultimately your responsibility to check if the products you have ordered are allowed in your country before you order. If your package is stopped by customs and returned to us, we can give you a full refund minus shipping and return shipping (if applicable) costs when we receive the package back. Unfortunately if your package is seized and destroyed we're not able to offer a refund.

Duties & Taxes

We currently offer DDP (Delivery and Duties PAID) and one DDU (Delivery and Duties UnPaid) for orders going to Japan. The Economy International Airmail shipping option, is the DDU method and is only available for packages 4.4 pounds (2 kg) or less. Your mail carrier may or may not collect duties and taxes for the Economy method. Although this is rare, as these packages often make it to the customer tax & duty free. If you choose a DDP method, we collect the taxes and duties during checkout, and therefore you do not have any remaining taxes and/or duties due upon delivery.
