Axe & Sledge Plant Fed Vegan Protein 30 Servings | All Natural Vegan Friendly Protein Powder

Axe & Sledge is a company not only known for putting out high quality supplements, but it's a brand known for putting out some amazing tasting supplements in some unique flavors as well. So with Plant Proteins and Vegan and Vegetarian Protein Powders being one of the most challenging supplements to do right, in regards to taste and texture, many fans of Axe & Sledge have been waiting for the brand to take a stab at a plant based protein powder. Axe & Sledge is well known for their Farm Fed and HomeMade Protein Powders, so we've been eagerly awaiting Plant Fed.

Plant Fed comes in two tasty flavors and has one of the best textures we've ever tasted as far as plant based protein powders go, it has unique flavors which taste great, and it comes in leaner than most plant based proteins with just 100-110 calories per serving while still packing 20 grams of protein, 2 grams of fat, and a single gram of carbs. While most users don't struggle to digest plant proteins like some users do with dairy based proteins, Axe & Sledge does contain 50mg of Digeseb Digestive Enzymes to support digestive comfort as well as making the protein, vitamins and minerals more bioavailable and more easily absorbed.

Plant Fed is also a great option for those looking for "more natural" supplements as Plant Fed is naturally flavored, naturally sweetened, and naturally colored. If you're on a vegan or vegetarian diet or someone who struggles to digest dairy, Axe & Sledge's New Plant Fed Protein is just what you're looking for!

Axe & Sledge Plant Fed vs. Other Plant Proteins

vs. Sun Warrior

Sunwarrior's Warrior Blend Plant Protein comes in slightly cheaper than Plant Fed, it also contains 10 less calories per serving and contains a few less protein sources which means Sunwarrior packs a slightly better amino profile. Axe & Sledge Plant Fed however has 3 grams of protein more than Sunwarrior as well as a superior taste and texture.

vs. Orgain Plant Based Protein

Orgain is probably best known as "Costco's Protein Powder" Orgain is considerably cheaper than Axe & Sledge Plant Fed and it actually contains an additional protein source it contains pea protein, brown rice protein and chia seed protein compared to Plant Feds two sources of protein being Pea and Brown Rice. Where Plant Fed comes out as the clear winner here however is in the areas of taste and texture. Orgain is a great budget friendly quality plant protein, however the texture is chalky and it tastes god awful. It has it's place and is great to mix in with a smoothie where the taste and texture can be covered up, however most users don't find it to be something they can take drink plain just mixed with water.

vs. Blessed Protein

Blessed Protein is actually one of the better tasting plant proteins in the market and while it does have that signature pea protein consistency, it's really not bad, they also have some unique flavors as well. Price wise it's comparable to Axe & Sledge's Plant Fed, however I would give a slight edge to Plant Fed on taste and texture, and Plant Fed is also naturally sweetened, flavored and colored. In addition to that Blessed features a single source of protein, pea protein, where as Axe & Sledge Plant Fed contains two protein sources with Pea and Brown Rice Proteins.
