Cost effective flax

Now Foods is quite cost effective when compared to other brands of flax seed. It is not packaged as well in a container, but clipping the end to keep it shut is worth the saving. I like to add this to cereals and smoothies for that extra crunch and also for the omega fat content to help reduce inflammation of my joints. I also tried to make a chicken batter by mixing flax seeds with eggs and rolling chicken pieces in it before baking. It worked quite well, but not as crispy as hoped. I would buy this one again.
