Redcon1 Double Tap Review

Double Tap is awesome, it gives me a little extra appetite suppression to help keep me on my track with my diet and that little bit of extra energy I need to make sure I don't skip any days in the gym.

I've tried both the Capsule form of Double Tap as well as the Powdered Form. Personally I prefer the caps as I don't always feel like having to mix up the powder, nor am I always in the mood for a sweet drink. I do miss the addition of the Dandelion Root the capsule lacks but I still prefer it. 

Double Tap is by far my favorite Redcon product right up there with Total War. 

I start my day with Redcon1 Double Tap and a pot of decaff coffee. 

How Much Caffeine is in Redcon1 Double Tap?

Redcon1 Double Tap Capsules contain 300mg of caffeine with 150mg of caffeine being caffeine anhydrous and 150mg being di-caffeine malate. 

How Does Double Tap Capsules Differe From Double Tap Powder?

While the formulas behind Double Tap Powder and Capsules are somewhat similar, there are some key differences. Both contain L-Carnitine, Green Tea Extract, Caffeine Anhdrous, and Di-Caffeine Malate. Where these formulas differ is the powder contains 50mg less Theobromine, however the powder does have Dandelion Root Extract and Juniper, two ingredients which the capsules do not contain. 

Can I Use Double Tap as a Pre Workout?

Double Tap can be used for energy and as a pre-workout supplement, however it's important to remember Double Tap was not designed to be a pre-workout. It does contain 300mg of caffeine which will be good for energy. The caffeine and L-Carnitine could also be great for fasted cardio but Double Tap does not contain any ingredients for pumps or additional endurance. If you're looking for a Pre Workout supplement we would suggest checking out Total War, also from Redcon1. 

Can I Consume Caffeine or Alcohol With Double Tap?

Double Tap contains 300mg of caffeine along with other stimulants. Because of that it's not recommended to consume additional caffeine in addition to taking Double Tap. It's also advised you don't consume alcohol while taking Double Tap Capsules. 

Directions & Dosage

The guys at Redcon 1 recommend that you take 3 capsules of Double Tap per day. Best to take 1-2 capsules in the morning and an additional capsule in the afternoon. This product should be taken on an empty stomach. You can also take Double Tap pre-workout for energy. If you are sensitive to stimulants it is not recommended to take this product after 4pm.

You should cycle this product 12 weeks on and 4 weeks off. Then you can begin another cycle.

This product should not be stacked with other products containing stimulants. If you plan on taking a pre-workout like Total War, it is recommended not to take it within 3-6 hours of taking this. If you plan on using this product pre-workout, add Big Noise for more pumps and vascularity. If looking for even more fat burning potential, add Silencer to your fat loss stack.

Double Tap can be used by women as it doesn't include any hormones.
